The unit we got was a nice size and beautifully designed with ceiling fan, large balcony, as for instance. The hotel was in an UNBEATABLE location close to all restaurants, the beach and the restaurants and Sri Lanka. We stayed for 3 nights here, loved Mirissa Beach district.

The stuff was amicable, the breakfast was gorgeous, everything was great. The room was well-maintained, good sleep in a big bed. Plus it had particularly nice view over swimming pool. The location was perfect, around 10-15 minutes walk from Parrot Rock Bridge. There where restaurants and bars close enough to the place.

Kalu was great value for money with beautiful, comfortable and looked super fresh rooms. The location was perfect, steps away from the action but still peaceful. The staff were helpful and friendly.
The breakfast option could be improved by offering a wider variety, including more than just juice and fruit.

The facilities were top-notch - the pool, TV, balcony, and air conditioning were perfect for our family with 2 small kids. the owner treated us like family, allowing us to use the kitchen and even cooking us meals. the property was clean and comfortable, and the two young boys working there were sweet and helpful. Thank you for your kindness during such a uncertain time.
Felt like VIPs, nothing was too much trouble.

The room was huge and tastefully decorated, plus the bed was nice. An electric kettle, fridges, and glassware were an advantage. The hotel had indeed a handy and ideal location good in a quiet neighborhood. A cool bonus was Wood Space, located nearby, it offered tea and coffee.
The staff were normal, didn't expect that coming.

A balcony with pool view: Our room had a balcony overlooking the pool, providing us with a beautiful backdrop for our morning coffee and evening relaxation. It felt like having our own little oasis right outside our door.
Limited breakfast options.

I chose Kalu Mirissa for its convenient location near the attractions I wanted to visit. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent 24-hour front desk service. The staff was friendly and helpful, ensuring a smooth check-in and assisting with any queries. The hotel also offered room service, which added to the convenience of my stay. Additionally, I enjoyed the facilities such as the terrace, restaurant, and bar, offering a variety of dining options.
Breakfast disappointment - our experience was drastically different from other reviews. Sri Lankan breakfasts were unavailable due to a forthcoming holiday, leaving us with just one choice, a poorly made and flavorless omelette served with a wrapped cheese slice.
